Bharti Airtel has brought Rs 399 Postpaid plan to fight against Upcoming Jio Postpaid Plus Plans that recently launched by Reliance Jio. Airtel have already had this plan in there stack list of postpaid plans but for this postpaid plan is limited for selected areas only, but now Airtel bring this plan not for selected areas but also for all telecom areas in India, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Escalation in plans is due to rival telecom, which gives 75 GB of data per month on the same price which is Rs 399.

Benefits in Rs 399 postpaid plan 

Airtel Rs 399 postpaid plan provides 40GB of data per month per user on an average of 4G Speed, Unlimited calls and limited 100 messages per month per user. Additionally Airtel Rs 399 plans offers Airtel Xstream Premium access for one year along with subscription to wynk music for free hello tunes. customers will also get subscription to Shaw academy along with Rs 150 cashback on FASTag.

On the same line before two or three week ago Jio launches postpaid plans that offers benefits of 75GB data per month per user, including free subscription for OTT apps like Netflix per month per user, Amazon Prime per month per user, Disney+ Hotstar and data rollover upto 500 GB as well as free international calls to USA and UAE.

which is better Jio or Airtel?

Airtel bring Rs 399 plan which offers 40GB of data and additional subscriptions and Jio offers 75GB of data on same price point with additional subscriptions ofcourse then it is pretty clear that jio give more data than airtel but it is also clear that speed of Airtel is much faster than jio then on a long day of 24 hrs customers need data in there respective devices so that they receive official mails, notifications and light WhatsApp text. Then jio is best for this Rs 399 plan competition.

As we see airtel postpaid plan list it has Rs 499 postpaid plan offers 75GB data of 3G or 4G speed with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. This plan also gives one year of free subscription to Amazon Prime, Airtel Xstream Premium and handset protection. Pretty same as jio postpaid plan because customers needs to pay 99 extra for Amazon prime then total will be same as Rs 499 plan nearly but this was not case with airtel.

According to the Official Report , If customers have there old 4G Sim then no need to buy new sim and also Rs 399 postpaid plan does not provide additional connections. Airtel users who opt for postpaid plans of Rs 499 or above are only eligible for ‘Priority Service’, according to the terms and conditions stated on Airtel’s website.

Reliance Jio has launched new postpaid plans that bang internet or telecom industry, company called it as "JIO POSTPAID PLUS". Jio postpaid plus price ranging from 399 INR plan to 1,499 INR which is offcourse best valued price range for customers. Company also said that jio postpaid plus come up with premium services like free access to entertainment platform and much more.


 Jio postpaid plus plans that offer unlimited voice, SMS, and bundled subscription to streaming apps like Disney+ Hotstar VIP (worth 365 INR  a year), Netflix (starting at 199 INR / month) and Amazon Prime Videos (129 INR / month). The Postpaid Plus pack will have monthly tariffs ranging from  399 INR to 1,499 INR. Apart from this premium access postpaid plus plans also include the usual bouquet of Jio apps, ‘Family Plan’ at 250 INR  per connection, data rollover benefit, Wi-Fi calling, in-flight calling, and international calling starting at  50 paise per min.

Reliance Jio’s new postpaid plus plans, however, offer more content options, premium offers and data offers than both Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel Ltd. across price points.
